Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has had her songs included in films and television shows such as How to Be single Going the distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. The dance school she attended was St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. The actress began her professional acting career aged three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career came and went with abruptly end during a span that lasted three years. She then received the role as the main character in Misconceptions which airs on WB. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh in 2006. She was also one of the three top contenders for Hannah Montana's main part. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the part.
