Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in America. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
