Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has released over 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock, folk rock but she also draws influences of jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to launch her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian descent. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The track is available on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco, released in 1996. It was also featured on the soundtrack for the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco apologized to host a seminar in Louisiana at an old slave plantation.
