Hayley orrantia was born in the US. She's primarily an actress, but she's also an acrobat and songwriter. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. According to her, music is her primary passion. It's something she has been dabbling at since she was 9 years old. By the time she reached age 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start studying professionally. In the age of 13, she began writing songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia was born in the USA, yet is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of her reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, despite using English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Her goal is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs, and also learning the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song that she's recorded is a good example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was selected as a result of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" votes from the judges in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into an ensemble for the remainder of auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live performances.
