Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people recognize her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. While she is a performer however, her passion for music. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She began playing with it when she was nine years old. She began training in professional music when she was twelve. Following a few attempts at songwriting, she only recorded the album with songs at age fourteen. The music has never stopped ever since. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic roots. Though she's never spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic culture. Her aim is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and learning the language. The most famous of these songs is 'Hasta Verte,' which was recorded by her in Spanish. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at the Seattle audition. Although she originally auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female vocalists were placed in groups for the remaining part of auditions. They were eliminated in the 5th week of the live show.
